Information About Our Site

Snowland's is set in the village of Par within 34 acres of land, situated just 3.3 miles from Fowey and 3.4 miles from St. Austell. We are a ten minute walk from the beach and we are close to the coastal path which meanders for miles around Cornwall. Snowland's is an excellent base for the Eden Project. We are close to Par Train station and a bus stop is just around the corner. Outside of the park is a chip shop, Chinese takeaway, kebab shop plus post office, spar shop and co-op store. So to hand is everything you need to have a great holiday, whether you intend to cook or have a takeaway.

Attractions near by are The Lost Gardens of Heligan, The Eden project, Wheal Martin, Restormel Castle, Clay trails plus the historic port Charlestown where Poldark is filmed. Newquay, St Ives, Penzance, Port Isaac (where Doc Martin is filmed) and Lands End are within easy reach by train or car.

Cornwall's Beautiful Beaches

With 422 miles of coastline, and never more than 20 miles from the coast, you will be spoilt for choice when you visit Cornwall.

Snowland's is a 10 - 15 minute walk to Par Beach; popular with families, walkers and dog walkers, this half a mile stretch of sand is the ideal location to watch the sun rise, the sun set and everything inbetween!

Polkerris is a beautiful little cove, access is either a 5 minute drive or a short walk along the coastal path from Par. The harbour wall means the cove is gently sloping and sheltered.
Carlyon Bay, Ready Money Cove, Pentewan, Porthpean and many more are within a short drive.... The only problem is choosing which one to visit!
